Very helpful, kind and professional movers - Moving a North Van home to storage
We were in a situation of having to pack and store our belongings while we secured a new home due to a devastating apartment fire 12 days before Christmas. This was incredibly stressful but in our first meeting with Arlene, we felt her empathy with our situation and we felt we would be taken care of. At the actual packing and moving to storage day, what was a very emotional time as this was our home of 14 years, Jordie and his crew made it so much easier for us with their professional behaviour but mostly, their kindness. So much so, we have requested the same crew for our move-in to our new home!

Smooth move and topnotch service - Moving locally in the Fraser Valley
Highland moved our 4600 sq foot home contents into storage for a few weeks, then into our empty-nester 2300 sq foot home an hour away. Excellent service, organized and respectful movers - Local move in Vancouver
Arlene was great and initially guided me through the process. I was moving out and into storage until I found my new home a few months later. The move was organized and documented, and the movers were very respectful. My only negative was they were unable to move out an armoire that had been moved in 7 years prior but it was decided that it was a no go and I had it broken up and removed. The move in again, great movers very respectful and took the time to break down a sofa bed and reconstruct it again.

Job done well - Local move in Surrey
We had a really good experience with the moving company. The original estimate was very high, and we were motivated to reduce the cost by moving some things in advance and also reducing our items to move. The men moving were very kind, friendly, considerate and patient. They worked so well with each other. The wrapping of the items amazed us and we appreciated the act of protecting the items. Professional and caring every step of the way - Moving to Portugal
I am writing this to express our gratitude for the professional help we received for our shipping container, which was sent from Vancouver to Portugal. We had all of our possessions wrapped and handled, including our vehicles, and they were received and delivered to our destination in excellent condition. The administration and handling of people in Canada and Portugal were very helpful and prompt throughout the process, which made the experience very pleasant. We were quite nervous about this endeavour, but World Wide Overseas Moving Service took very good care of us.

Professional and respectful movers - local move in Surrey
Even though we only had an in-town move, we had a full house and needed professional help. Our entire experience, from the consultation, to the packing, moving, and unpacking was up to our expectations. We have moved a few times in the past and knew what to expect. The crews that helped us this time were among the best. Nothing ever goes perfect during a move, but the team was professional, and respectful of our things and our time. I would recommend them to others and consider using them again.

I cannot praise the moving team highly enough - move in North Van
We had a short move within North Van. The amount of furniture was limited but Arlene took the time to come and carry out the pre-move survey. She did the survey very professionally and went out of her way to investigate if there were other opportunities regarding dates and potential other small moves within the area to help us out. The team that arrived to move us were nothing short of fantastic. From putting down matting to make sure that they didn't mark the floors to wrapping the furniture they carried out the work quickly and professionally. The new property has an extremely steep driveway but the team that carried out the move, on a very hot day, shifted the furniture effortlessly and rebuilt the large pieces of furniture quickly and with good cheer. I cannot praise the moving team highly enough. The only regret I have is that I did not make a note of their names so I am unable to mention them by name.

Great support, perfect move - Surrey to Calgary
We used Highland Van & Storage moving from Surrey BC to Calgary AB. Arlene is the person I contacted with. She is very responsible and friendly, and always tried her best to answer my lots of moving questions. The moving crews are very fast. They only spent around 4 hours to move all our stuff (4 bedrooms) on the van, and my piano is perfectly moved to Calgary too. Thank you again, Arlene and all the moving staff!

She is very responsible and friendly, and always tried her best to answer my lots of moving questions. The moving crews are very fast. The best move of my life - Moving from Surrey to Vancouver Island
We recently had Highland move us from Surrey to Vancouver Island. Right from the start with the estimator Arlene, the Staff were all professionals. The foreman/driver Mike and his loading crew were excellent and packaged everything with care and left a tidy house when all loaded. Mike and the unloading crew were also great and made short work of delivering all the boxes to their locations and setting up the major furniture. This was the best move I have had and would highly recommend Highland Moving.

Overall wasn’t bad. The movers had to work around the plumber who was still installing appliances. They ended up stacking boxes where they could but left a number of heavy boxes on top which I then had to struggle to move.It took me a few days to find the box that had my work computer in. Finally found the garage on its side, luckily no damage. The crew were nice and even though the TV box requested was not provided on the load I was charged a bit for it being wrapped and then rewrapped at the shop. Overall all was good service and nothing was damaged.

Phenomenal Overseas Moving Service - Vancouver to Australia
Wow. So we are looking at companies to help us move overseas. I’ve been dealing with Karen and Z and this team is beyond awesome. Highly professional, friendly, courteous, responsive and competitive as well. I’ve canvassed all the FIDI and major shippers and in my opinion, Worldwide is right up there. I’ve already recommended them to friends on a moving group. Anyway just phenomenal and recommended without reservation.
Note there are currently shipping delays in regions such as Australasia so make sure you deal with a good company.

I used this company to move my mother-in-law from BC, Canada to Folsom, CA. They did an excellent job from start to finish. Communication by email and phone was great. Cost was reasonable. We had several pieces of large furniture and a dozen large boxes. Everything arrived within 2 weeks of them taking delivery in Canada of the items that needed to be moved. They packed everything carefully. All the large pieces were wrapped in moving blankets. The delicate and fragile pieces were well packed in moving boxes that they provided. On arrival, all the pieces were unloaded, unwrapped and placed exactly where we wanted them to be. The couches and display cabinets were moved to the second floor with ease. I could not be more pleased. Will definitely recommend them and will use them again if the need arises in the future.

On arrival, all the pieces were unloaded, unwrapped and placed exactly where we wanted them to be. The couches and display cabinets were moved to the second floor with ease. I could not be more pleased. Will definitely recommend them and will use them again if the need arises in the future.

Level of service beyond expectations - moving from Storage to Abbotsford home
I had used Highland a couple times for projects at work.
We were in a situation where we sold our home and in the process of looking for another. Highland scheduled our move 5 weeks in advance and arrived at exactly the time they said they would be there. The crew was polite, courteous and professional. They took care of our belongings. It made us feel comfortable with the thought they would be storing our contents for a period of time.
There was a little hick up in the scheduling of the move back, we had a morning appointment but they did not arrive until the afternoon. I must say the crew they sent was absolutely amazing. (Two young men and a young lady whose names have slipped my memory) I thought they would have a hard time providing the level of service we received during the move out, was I wrong! Their level of service greatly surpassed our expectations. They emptied the truck within a few hours, put everything in the locations they belonged to, they set up our furniture beds , tables, desks etc. They totally made up for the scheduling mishap. These 3 members of your staff truly made our experience great. They went above and beyond. I would recommend Highland to anyone considering using a moving and storage company. I would certainly use them again.

Smooth move from Kamloops to Saanich

I would never move with any other moving company than Highland - Pitt Meadows to Prince George
I have used Highland Van and Storage twice and I would never use anyone else. The recent move was from Pitt Meadows to Prince George and despite all the challenges with timing (moving just before Christmas) and a broken highway system they got my belonging to PG safe and sound and on time. When my flight was delayed, I asked Jorgen, the driver, if they could possibly deliver my belongings without me there. They did. And they did a great job. My bed was set up, the boxes were organized in every room. Jorgen shot me a text to let me know everything was good and to wish me luck on my flight. Pretty awesome. Nice people and great service. When it came to unpacking all my boxes were labeled clearly so I knew what was where and not one item was broken or missing. I highly recommend letting them pack for you. Arlene will coordinate your move and work with you to ensure everything goes smoothly. I wouldn't use anyone else.

I could not be happier with the service - moving from Richmond, BC to Kelowna
Could not have been happier with Highland from the professional estimating process completed by Arlene Kenny to the follow-up questions and details including the ease of picking up packing boxes at MY convenience from Christine and Anna in the Company's warehouse/offices. The women who aided in the packing were courteous, efficient, creative and skilled. The staff available during the unloading were likewise great to work with. One wine glass was broken and the base of a wall unit was slightly damaged but everything else survived the move from Richmond to Kelowna without a mark. The move was further complicated by having to be handled four times as Highland looked after storing the contents of half a 53 foot trailer for three weeks while my new house was being painted and renovated. The quote was slightly on the high side (by 400 pounds); the three other quotes were similarly priced except pegged at 1600 pounds below the actual weight which means that with any of the others I would have paid significantly extra on delivery. I could not be happier with the service, attitude and professionalism received from Highland - I would recommend them to ANYONE seeking moving assistance.

They knew we had a small window to have the elevator at the new residence and sent enough people to pack the day before and to have the truck packed to make sure they were ready. We recently moved and hired Highland Movers to do our local move, it goes without saying that we did our research and got a few quotes on Movers. Arlene visited our place (with COVID Protocols followed of 'course) and gave us the most reasonable quote. She was professional and prompt with her responses.
We moved on the Hottest weekend in July ,which definitely made it challenging for them. Not only that, the 'Kirkland Crew' from there company took the time to pack each of our furniture items neatly taking care of the walls and the floors. We did have 1 bed assembled loosely which they took the time to reassemble. They were also very honest about 1 of our chest of drawers and bed chipping some items but we knew it was old and has finished its lifespan so to say (IKEA). All in we are very pleased with their service and are hoping to use them again when we need to move. Thanks!

I used Highland World Wide Services (and Karen Slater, Int’l Relocation Mgr.) for my move from Vancouver to the UK, on the recommendation of a personal friend who had worked in the moving business locally. And I’m glad I did. From the outset Karen was always available to answer my questions and guide me through the whole process. Arlene from Highland / Summit Moving & Storage made what is a very stressful time into a great and easy experience for my husband and myself . She was there to answer any problems and questions any time of the day. The packers Terri and Sarah were just awesome! They really took care of things as they packed. It was very reassuring. Fantastic Crew - Last Minute Move in Surrey, BC
From the virtual estimate to the end of the move the staff were very professional and pleasant. The move was booked with very short notice but went very smoothly. The 3 young gentlemen were fantastic as they even helped us to pack up some of the stuff that was left. They laid down runners in the new home to keep the floors clean. They took apart our beds and reassembled them at the new house. They were also very careful so they didn't damage anything. I would definitely recommend and reuse them in the future should the need arise.

Truly Impressed by the quality of service
My experience with Highland has been extremely positive! From the start, Arlene was wonderful to work with! She has been very responsive to my endless questions and was so easy to work with and reassured me every step of the way, as our move was during Covid. The day of the move, the crew showed up on time and were incredible efficient! I was so impressed! Our goods are in storage for the next year and I hope we can work with the same crew again upon move into our new home. Ana from head office and Ming in the accounting department are also awesome! Both very responsive and professional! I would hands down recommend Highland to all my family and friends!

Terrific experience - Moving from Maple Ridge to Kelowna
Everyone we dealt with from beginning to end was friendly, accommodating, and professional. This was the first move where we found nothing damaged when unpacking which speaks to the care used with our items. I would not hesitate to recommend Highland to anyone needing a full service move.
