Very helpful, kind and professional movers - Moving a North Van home to storage
We were in a situation of having to pack and store our belongings while we secured a new home due to a devastating apartment fire 12 days before Christmas. This was incredibly stressful but in our first meeting with Arlene, we felt her empathy with our situation and we felt we would be taken care of. At the actual packing and moving to storage day, what was a very emotional time as this was our home of 14 years, Jordie and his crew made it so much easier for us with their professional behaviour but mostly, their kindness. So much so, we have requested the same crew for our move-in to our new home!

Smooth move and topnotch service - Moving locally in the Fraser Valley
Highland moved our 4600 sq foot home contents into storage for a few weeks, then into our empty-nester 2300 sq foot home an hour away. We were extremely impressed with Arlene working with us on the moving plans and quote, providing us with great advice and assistance. She addressed many of our concerns and questions that came up during the planning phase. Wendy provided reminders on the crew moving days. Excellent service, organized and respectful movers - Local move in Vancouver
Arlene was great and initially guided me through the process. I was moving out and into storage until I found my new home a few months later. The move was organized and documented, and the movers were very respectful. My only negative was they were unable to move out an armoire that had been moved in 7 years prior but it was decided that it was a no go and I had it broken up and removed. The move in again, great movers very respectful and took the time to break down a sofa bed and reconstruct it again.

Arlene was great and initially guided me through the process. I was moving out and into storage until I found my new home a few months later. The move was organized and documented, and the movers were very respectful. Job done well - Local move in Surrey
We had a really good experience with the moving company. The original estimate was very high, and we were motivated to reduce the cost by moving some things in advance and also reducing our items to move. The men moving were very kind, friendly, considerate and patient. They worked so well with each other. The wrapping of the items amazed us and we appreciated the act of protecting the items. I certainly would recommend them to other people moving and actually have since the move. Thanks for the positive move.

I cannot praise the moving team highly enough - move in North Van
We had a short move within North Van. The amount of furniture was limited but Arlene took the time to come and carry out the pre-move survey. The best move of my life - Moving from Surrey to Vancouver Island
We recently had Highland move us from Surrey to Vancouver Island. Right from the start with the estimator Arlene, the Staff were all professionals. The foreman/driver Mike and his loading crew were excellent and packaged everything with care and left a tidy house when all loaded. Mike and the unloading crew were also great and made short work of delivering all the boxes to their locations and setting up the major furniture. This was the best move I have had and would highly recommend Highland Moving.

Level of service beyond expectations - moving from Storage to Abbotsford home
I had used Highland a couple times for projects at work.
We were in a situation where we sold our home and in the process of looking for another. Highland scheduled our move 5 weeks in advance and arrived at exactly the time they said they would be there. The crew was polite, courteous and professional. They took care of our belongings. It made us feel comfortable with the thought they would be storing our contents for a period of time.
There was a little hick up in the scheduling of the move back, we had a morning appointment but they did not arrive until the afternoon. I must say the crew they sent was absolutely amazing. (Two young men and a young lady whose names have slipped my memory) I thought they would have a hard time providing the level of service we received during the move out, was I wrong! Their level of service greatly surpassed our expectations. They emptied the truck within a few hours, put everything in the locations they belonged to, they set up our furniture beds , tables, desks etc. They totally made up for the scheduling mishap. These 3 members of your staff truly made our experience great. They went above and beyond. I would recommend Highland to anyone considering using a moving and storage company. I would certainly use them again.

Great Customer Service & Pro Moving Crew - Delta to North Vancouver
We did a complex move with Highland in summer 2021 involving a move to a long-term storage facility plus a move to Highland's short-term storage warehouse and then about six weeks later a move back from Highland's warehouse to our new house. We had quotes from three companies, and while Highland's was not the lowest price, I had more confidence in their estimator Arlene and her quote than I did with the quotes from the other companies. Highland's crews were very professional and did an excellent job for us, especially crew boss Troy. If we move again (please god no!) we will use Highland.

It could not have been done any better - Moving locally, in Langley

All of the floors were covered and the furniture was well protected. The packers and movers were all professional and took a lot of care. The move could not have been smoother.

We recently moved and hired Highland Movers to do our local move, it goes without saying that we did our research and got a few quotes on Movers. Arlene visited our place (with COVID Protocols followed of 'course) and gave us the most reasonable quote. She was professional and prompt with her responses.
We moved on the Hottest weekend in July ,which definitely made it challenging for them. Not only that, the 'Kirkland Crew' from there company took the time to pack each of our furniture items neatly taking care of the walls and the floors. We did have 1 bed assembled loosely which they took the time to reassemble. They were also very honest about 1 of our chest of drawers and bed chipping some items but we knew it was old and has finished its lifespan so to say (IKEA). All in we are very pleased with their service and are hoping to use them again when we need to move. Thanks!

Thrilled with the experience - Local move in Maple Ridge
I am so glad that I called Highland Van and storage. We were up against a wall with our move with having only 1 day to move everything. From the get-go, Arlene provided us with a very competitive and reasonable price. On the day of the move, the movers(3) showed up around 0930hrs and started immediately. They had the whole 3400 square foot house contents loaded by 1230hrs and then unloaded in the next place completing around 1430hrs. What a relief for us!!!!! We couldn't believe it. We thought we'd be still moving things ourselves into the night. We were just thrilled with the whole experience from start to finish. Phone consultation and all interactions a very pleasant experience. The guys that did our move wrapped and treated every piece of our heavy furniture with great care as it was going into storage. A lot of our pieces were very heavy but they lifted it all with great care and no complaints! They even delivered a heavy plant to a friend's place. Great guys.

Bottom line for Highland Service was 10/10. Arlene was very efficient in assessing our situation via zoom and giving us a written estimate. And our actual cost came in less than the quote. The quality of the work was excellent. Charice and Jim were an efficient and speedy packing team. Tory, Gabe and Justin moved everything efficiently the next day. Fantastic Crew - Last Minute Move in Surrey, BC
From the virtual estimate to the end of the move the staff were very professional and pleasant. The move was booked with very short notice but went very smoothly. The 3 young gentlemen were fantastic as they even helped us to pack up some of the stuff that was left. They laid down runners in the new home to keep the floors clean. They took apart our beds and reassembled them at the new house. They were also very careful so they didn't damage anything. I would definitely recommend and reuse them in the future should the need arise.

My wife has a brain tumour and I am struggling with my own cognitive neurological disorders and the services provided by Sam and Terry (packers) and Sarah, Troy, and Kevin (movers) gave my wife and I an opportunity to rest our heads during a period that is usually stressful. We never got to joke around with Sam and Terry, but Sarah, Troy, and Kevin were comical and made the day go smooth. It was very well appreciated.

Arlene from Summit Moving & Storage made what is a very stressful time into a great and easy experience for my husband and myself . She was there to answer any problems and questions any time of the day. The packers Terri and Sarah were just awesome! They really took care of things as they packed. It was very reassuring. Moving day with Troy, Kevin M , and Kevin K. was also incredible. The care they took on wrapping the furniture was great. They were all friendly and polite . Our belongings are now in storage waiting to be delivered to our place in a few months. Overall, we can’t thank them enough for making this transition for us very easy. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and we would personally request the same people we had to pack and move us whenever we move again .👍🏻🙂

This was not our first move with Highland Van & Storage. Arlene Johnston is amazing and pleasant to deal with. Even with Covid, the move went relatively smooth. A little glitch with the piano at my son's house as the approach was very steep and difficult. But it all gone done and no damage, no concerns. Very efficient movers. Great overall experience
Great moving experience overall. The moving associates and movers were friendly and very helpful. All of our stuff arrived on time and in good condition. A few small items were lost from furniture being taken apart and pieces not being placed in a container, but our driver offered to get the missing pieces for us and put the furniture back together.
No complaints at all. I would definitely consider moving with Highland Moving Vancouver again.

We asked if he could move 1 piece of furniture from our dining room up the stairs and into our bonus room. He did not hesitate & had it up there lickety-split! Shawn and his team did a great job and were professional and courteous. It was a challenging move in due to the logistics of the building and our suite but Ray, one of the local guys was fully prepared for small elevators and lots of stairs so the move went very well on our end.

No hassle, great move
The move was not an easy one due to long hallways and a small elevator they had for transporting furniture, but they did it with good grace. They were careful with everything, but just the same, a glass side panel in a cabinet got broken. I was pleasantly surprised when Robert came to fix it the very next day, and made it look like new and with absolutely no hassle for me. I would recommend this company to anyone as they are experienced, take care, and are mindful of your needs and personal property.
